We give thanks and praise to the Lord...

...for providing a vehicle! We are delighted with the Lord's provision! We are thankful for so many people who gave generously and sacrificially to our vehicle fund. We were able to buy a newer 8 passenger SUV and received it on Thursday!

...for opportunities to meet people. Angela has connected with the International Women's Club of Mexico City where she has met other moms with kids at the same school as our boys as well as other women who have followed their husbands to the city. We sense that this is a very important connection and may be one of the keys to inviting people to be disciples of Jesus in Mexico City. She spent 2 days this week in a workshop with newcomers to Mexico City and it was a great time of learning and connecting.

...for opportunities to learn and grow. Chris will be attending the Exponential conference in Florida this week. Chris will have the opportunity to network with other church planters and hear from anointed speakers and practitioners. This conference is part of the "vision" prayer we are praying: that as Chris is at this conference, God will speak some of the "who", the "what" and the "how" of what he wants for us here in Mexico City

We are asking the Lord...

...to show tremendous grace to Angela and the kids while Chris is away.

...to bring Kingdom change to Venezuela. This past week the boy's school in Caracas closed its doors for good and let all the staff go (classes ceased in December 2018). This is devastating for so many families that depended on their jobs at the school. It is just one of the symptoms of the many problems plaguing Venezuela. There are so many problems and they are so big that only God can bring redemption, freedom and wholeness.

...more. More of His presence. More of His Love. More rest. More freedom. We want more of whatever He wants to give us!

Thank you so much for praying with us! We so appreciate your partnership in growing the Kingdom in Mexico City!

with love,
Chris, Angela, Mackenzie, Lukas and Lucía.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9-11
