Sunday Mornings

All families are welcome to participate in our Sunday worship gatherings at 10am. When you first arrive, feel free to bring your kids to the Kids Check-In Counter, where their names will be entered into our system and a name tag printed out for them. All kids will participate in the auditorium for the first part of the gathering, then dismissed to their classes around 10:30am.

On Sunday Mornings we will be offering classes for:

  • Nursery (3 and under): An attendant will be present in the nursery from 10:30 to 11:30am. For parents who remain in the nursery with their child, an audio feed of the service is provided.

  • Little Ones (Pre-K): Sing songs, read a Bible story, do crafts, and enjoy free play in the gym.

  • Kids (Grades 1-4): Sing worship songs, learn stories from the Bible, do arts and crafts and play games.

  • Youth (Grades 5 & up):

    • First Sunday of the month: Youth Serve Sunday: all youth will have an opportunity to serve and be mentored in service.

    • Second to fifth Sunday of the month: Youth Sunday school class in the Room to Serve.

LCA YOUTH

Crux: (Latin) 1) cross; 2) the heart of the matter; 3) the most difficult section of a mountain climb.

Weekly

Our weekly youth gathering runs from September to June and meets most weeks on Wednesdays between 7 and 8:30pm. Our youth is divided into Junior Crux (grades 6-8) and Senior Crux (grades 9-12).

What Juniors can expect: a fun atmosphere involving games, music, snacks, Bible teaching, and small group connection.

What Seniors can expect: a casual environment that includes worship through song, interaction with God’s Word, and small group connection.

Occasionally, Juniors and Seniors will combine for special worship and outreach events.

We’re passionate about introducing the youth of Lake Country to Jesus and shepherding their development into flourishing royal priests in the kingdom of God.
