God is Answering Prayer in Mexico City
We give thanks and praise to the Lord...
...for our Chinese colleagues Victor & Betty (pictured with us) and Anne Louie. Victor, Betty and Anne are planting a Chinese church in a nearby area of the city. Chris has recently been appointed to a coaching, care and resourcing role with them. We look forward to knowing them more as we serve expats together.
...that the fall school season is well under way. The boys are adapting fairly well to the new routines. They are being brave: Mackenzie tried out for and made the running team; Lukas is tried out and made the american football team. They don't always love doing homework but they are applying themselves and doing well in their studies.
...for enthusiastic and committed volunteers who are joining us in offering Alpha. We have loved getting to know these volunteers and investing in them. We are so grateful for their hearts of prayer and willingness to help out however they can. Please pray for spiritual protection for them as they serve and listen to the Holy Spirit's leading from week to week.
We are asking the Lord...
...for Him to move in all of the participants of Alpha starting this Saturday morning, September 21. Our first session will be this weekend and we have a diverse group of Jesus followers and those curious about faith.
...for healing and health. Our family is dealing with a number of health issues. Please pray for healing!
