First Week in Canada!

Last Tuesday the kids were in Jordan. This Tuesday they started school at Peter Greer. Mariam is in grade 1, and Abdallah is in kindergarten. They are attending for 2 hrs each day for the next week and then full days after that. They are enjoying school and making new friends.

Marwa and Yaseen are being taught English in their home for now. Yaseen has taken his English placement test and will soon be starting his classes in Kelowna. Marwa will continue ESL in the home with our team of teachers. Maysam is also having some special English teaching of her own.

The baby, Mohammed, is doing well. Ahmad, the 2 yr old is one busy boy and keeps everyone on their toes. The family is slowly getting used to their new neighbourhood. They love visits, so feel free to arrange to visit them in their home, or invite them to yours!

Prayer requests: Yaseen has applied for a temporary driver’s license. Pray that the government will issue it, as it will shorten his licensing period. We have received a noise complaint and are working on it. Pray that this will be peacefully resolved. Thank God for His goodness and Google Translate!
